Cooler Weather Is On The Way!!
The Greene County Regulators is a Cowboy Action Shooting Club sanctioned by the Single Action Shooting Society. Our members share a common interest in preserving the history of the Old West and competitive shooting using guns of the Old West (or modern replicas thereof). We provide a safe, fun and family friendly environment.
Cowboy Action shooting matches are now held on the SECOND SUNDAY and FOURTH Saturdays of every month at our range called BorderTown in Rogersville, Tennessee near Bulls Gap. Cowboy Action AND Wild Bunch matches are offered at our SECOND SUNDAY shoots. We often schedule special events like a Free Family Fun Day On The Range on fifth Saturdays in months when they occur. There is never a fee to come watch. You should, however, wear eye and ear protection. If you like you may shoot a stage or two after the match. We'll provide guns and ammo.
As a rule we shoot regardless of the weather. We have mobile pop-up tents for gun carts and two stages that allow loading, shooting and unloading under roof. We utilize these to shoot all stages when the weather is bad. If a match has to be cancelled due to weather a notification will be posted here on our ANNOUNCEMENTS page and e-mailed to all members who have registered their e-mail addresses with us. Check the ANNOUNCEMENTS page of this website for match start times. These change with the seasons. (Earlier in the Spring and Summer and later in the winter).
If you'd like to join our club, membership dues are payable on January 1st of each year. Individual membership is thirty dollars. Family membership is fifty dollars. New members that join after the June match are prorated for fifteen dollars for Individual membership and twenty five for Family membership. You do not have to be a member of SASS or our club to shoot with us. We encourage shooters to adhere to SASS dress codes but we do not require it. Dress however you like when you come to shoot with us. You must, however, adhere to these codes and be a member of SASS to compete in state, regional or national Cowboy Action or Wild Bunch events.
